According to clinical studies, you can burn as much as 600 calories in one infrared sauna session. That’s roughly equivalent to jogging or swimming for an hour. The body cools itself down after infrared heat makes your core temperature rise. This increases blood flow to the skin surface, so you continue shedding those pounds without much exertion from your part. The temperature in our infrared fitness rooms are kept at 98-105 depending on the style of class you prefer. This is not as hot as sauna but enough so as you work out you sweat more and your heart rate is elevated to increase cardio and maximize the calorie burn. So you can workout and burn more calories than you normally would without having to abuse the joints.
